Hong Kong represents one of the top places on the world map when it comes to nightlife. This eastern gem becomes a real hedonist paradise when the sun goes down, with all sorts of attractions and events. Here are some of the best things that you can experience in Hong Kong during the night.

Happy Valley Race

Since 1846, Hong Kong is home to attractive horse races, where thousands of peoples come to watch it. The most interesting part of these races is that most of the people come here to bet on some horse and win money. The racing season is open from September until June.

Night Markets

One of the best and most authentic events that you can experience in Hong Kong is the Night Markets. These are the places where you can feel the culture. Some of the best markets are Ladies Market on Tung Choi Street and the Temple Street Night Market.

Clubs and Restaurants

Hong Kong is full of great places where you can have a drink or try some delightful food. One of the most exclusive places is Armani/Prive which represents a place of high luxury and gests of this place are mostly people with high social status.

The Symphony of Lights

We cannot talk about Hong Kong and skip to mention the Symphony of Lights. The Symphony of Lights represents the largest light and sound show in the world. Also, it is approved by the Guinness World Records. This amazing show starts and 8 pm and last throughout the night.

The lights on the buildings from both sides of Victoria Harbor are synchronizing and create a theme. There are five themes with music effects which all symbolize the energy, diversity, and the spirit of Hong Kong. The best point of view for this event is from Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, or some of the cruises in the Victoria Harbor.

Hong Kong Opera

Another amazing structure in Hong Kong is the Hong Kong Opera or Cantonese Opera. Here you can see some of the best shows from Chinese culture and many other communities in Southeast Asia. Some of the best shows are martial arts, acting, and acrobatic plays.
