Playa Celebrates The Yucatan Resort Opening With Gold Event

A few weeks ago, I attended the Gold Party for a hotel opening in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The event was part of the Yucatan Peninsula Hotels & Resorts opening of Casa Maya, a brand new resort which promises to be one of the most luxurious, luxurious, luxurious resorts in the Yucatan. The party began with a performance of the Yucatan’s music, followed by the symbolic lighting of a firework that was literally an inferno at sea level. The rest of the evening was filled with the sounds of DJ’s, food and drinks, and beautiful weather.

The new Yucatan Renaissance Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, is now open. It’s an ultra-luxury resort that promises guests the best of hotel life, with a swim-up rooftop bar, a world-class spa, and a choice of three dining options. The resort’s opening ceremony was celebrated with a gold event, which featured entertainment, a buffet dinner, and plenty of VIPs and celebrities. Overall, it’s an exciting new addition to Playa, which has been welcoming tourists for over a decade.

The Yucatan Peninsula, located in the Caribbean, is world-renowned for its stunning beaches. Costa Maya is the area’s most popular destination, and this year, it will welcome one of the region’s newest resorts.

It was only natural to celebrate the opening of Playa del Carmen’s newest downtown resort with a bang. The Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen opened on the 12th. May officially opened as the first all-inclusive resort in the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

The opening ceremony of this hotel was all about glitz, glamour and luxury, with the golden event being the star of the show. Playa Hotels & Resorts began hosting themed events during the pandemic to encourage small social groups to travel, and the Gold event was especially perfect for this trip as the company celebrated travel agents.

I was looking for new ways to entice and encourage travelers to get out of their homes, work up a sweat, check into one of our incredible luxury all-inclusive hotels and have fun. We’ve launched our girls’ outings, our PJ and Prosecco parties, our sports-themed parties, our Not Your Grandmas Tea parties and most recently the Gold event, says Wright. The Golden Event is our way of honoring the winners. In the Olympics, gold is first place!

The evening’s attire was gold, white or black, and Playa even handed some agents Golden Globes for best salesmen. The company showed its support throughout the event and emphasised the importance of its partnership, ensuring the message was clear to agents: Keep being the best you can be.

Jessica Pressler, a luxury travel consultant with Blissful Vacations, was excited about the new facility and the opportunity to offer her guests an authentic hotel.

The Yucatan Resort by Hilton is a gem! There is no better way for agents to get to know a hotel than to experience it for themselves, and this often leads to new sales immediately afterwards. While agents surveyed properties and selected the best clients to show, some even made on-the-spot reservations.

Magen Tripp of Escape and Relax Travel has only been working with Playa for a short time, but she’s already feeling the love, especially during this and previous VIP trips. She feels not only respected, but fully supported when booking destination weddings for her clients.

After [attending several VIP events], I signed contracts with four other wedding groups and am currently working on another contract at the Hyatt Cancun – a total of six contracts in 10 months, Tripp said. For me, these VIP events give our agents the opportunity to showcase Playa Resorts like no other brand can. Clients tell me they hear my confidence when I recommend the Playa Resort for their wedding.
