Carnival Cruise Line Details E-Muster Which Could Remain Permanently
The U.S. Supreme Court upheld a law that allows passengers to sue cruise lines if they expect to be stuck in port for more than five days. Carnival Lines filed a petition for certiorari in a case filed by a passenger who was suing the cruise line for wrongful detainment after he spent six days stuck in port on the Carnival Conquest. The cruise line said that it was taking the case to the highest court because the law may create a $1,500 liability for passengers in foreign countries.
We’ve all heard all the horror stories about cruise ships. The passengers are always arguing, the staff are always overworked, and the food is always terrible. But now, Carnival Cruise Lines is going to make the waters surrounding their ships even more terrible by making all sorts of medical data, including your every hormone, weight, and physical health reading, completely available to the general public.
Carnival Cruise Line has announced that all 4.7 million passengers who have booked tickets for the company’s 2017 season are now eligible for a “customizable e-muster” (a term that sounds like an oxymoron when applied to a cruise booking website, but is actually just a fancy way of saying “online survey”). So, if you’ve been thinking about taking a Carnival cruise, you now have the chance to fill out the company’s online survey, which will let Carnival know what you like about their ships, the food, the staff, and more, so that Carnival can improve their products in the hopes that more passengers will choose to take a cruise in the future.
Carnival Cruise Line has released further details on when cruise operations will resume in the coming months. While the cruise line works on complex protocols to ensure the safety of everyone on board, a Carnival ambassador detailed a new training alarm that has already been implemented on other cruise lines.
Carnival Cruise Line E model
Carnival Cruise Line ambassador John Heald has been hinting for weeks that there would be an e-learning exercise, and on Friday morning he finally revealed some details. The cruise line is preparing to resume operations in July 2023. Numerous protocols and procedures must be implemented as part of this return to ensure the protection of guests and crew.
The unpopular safety briefing the cruise line held before it went bankrupt more than a year ago will no longer be held. Carnival is now promoting a new kind of safety drill, and it looks like it will remain in effect even after everything returns to normal.

Mr Heald confirmed that there will no longer be safety briefings for guests. This is for everyone’s safety and to prevent the possible spread of the virus. Guests will need to download the cruise line’s Hub app onto their mobile device, as it plays a key role in electronic ordering on board.

The app tells guests where to go in case of emergency. In addition, the check-in location will be indicated on the cabin key, which will not be available when you board, as the cabins may not yet be ready.
Guests should then proceed to the designated pick-up point as indicated in the schedule. There, the crew can confirm that the guest was present at the event. MSC Cruises has already implemented a similar process, scanning the wristband or cruise card at the check-in station so the cruise line knows the customer was there.
Heald said:
The application will tell you how to proceed. If you are able to use the stairs, as remember the lifts don’t work in emergencies, there will be crew members on hand to show you the way.
But once you get to your staging area, you’ll find that the carnival team members are a team in each staging area. And now you’re going to test them. I’m not going to tell you exactly what to do, because once you get there, the crew will. You have nothing else to do but go.

Guests will then be required to watch a safety video with Carnival’s head of entertainment Shaquille O’Neal in their stateroom sometime before the ship departs. It’s so simple! Carnival Cruise Line will know if guests do not meet E-muster requirements.
MSC Cruises asks guests to call a special telephone number in their cabin after viewing the video to confirm that they have viewed it. It remains to be seen how Carnival implements this measure.
Heald said that if the eCash process works, it may well be the way the cruise line will operate in the coming years. Most passengers will appreciate the new technical version much more, as they will no longer have to wait in lounges or for lifeboats.
This seems to be the way forward for many cruise lines, as all Carnival brands will likely do the same. Royal Caribbean and MSC Cruises, which have already introduced new flights, have already introduced electronic models.
